The Dawg Story
Harsens Island is completely surrounded by beautiful, majestic waters blended with magnificent shades of blue. My husband and I are grateful to have lived here for over 30 years. We have hosted many reunions, celebrations, and family gatherings. Each event has provided a treasured memory.
My life was spent in the kitchen creating "fun" menus for all those I love and cherish including the four-legged creatures that gather around my feet. We never knew what doggie was running through our house visiting. It may have belonged to a neighbor, friend, or relative. Everyone was welcome at "Aunt Patti’s Bed and Breakfast" as it came to be known.
My husband, Captain Jack (Long story associated with that name), has a background in computer engineering, mechanical engineering, construction, and he is a licensed Captain. The list goes on, and on and his mind is never at rest. His latest inspiration has been to share Aunt Patti's delicious "fun" menus with our community and beyond. This meant designing and building a trailer complete with a gourmet restaurant style kitchen. Everything state of the art. To complete this task, he joined forces with a very talented tool and die fellow, Chef Vinny Dawg/Griddle Master as we like to call him, and together created a mobile Kitchen extravaganza!
We have a passion for great food and a love for our family, friends, and doggies. So, out came the name of MC Dawgs with Captain Jack and Aunt Patti by his side at the helm of his Dad’s red convertible.
